What do Elder Care Professionals do?
Elder care professionals provide needed support for seniors, allowing them to remain in the comfort of their own home and maintain their independence. These nurturing and caring companions can be matched to meet the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of the individuals they care for.
Examples of duties could include:
• Cooking
• Light Housekeeping
• Transportation
• Laundry
• Shopping
• Exercising
• Companionship
Elder Companion Requirements:
• 18 years or older
• High school graduate
• Elder experience
• Cleared KBI Criminal Background Check
• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Physical & T.B. Skin Test
• Excellent Personal and Employer References
• Reliable transportation
Agency Fees:
• $250 application fee when you fill out the client application
• $1,250 retainer fee at the beginning of the interview process
• 10% of the first year salary minus the retainer fee
